The periodontal disease is a period of dental problem where you are in verge of losing your teeth. This is the highest stage of gum disease starting from bad breath. You do not have to worry though because there is a treatment for this. There is a way to resolve this gum problem.
a. Proper brushing of teeth. Learn the right technique in brushing your teeth. Every stroke counts because improper brushing adds to the accumulation of plaque. You also have to evaluate your toothbrush and toothpaste. It is recommended to replace your dental cleaning tools with the ones that are more useful and effective. This includes soft bristled toothbrush and toothpaste for sensitive teeth.
b. Gargling mouthwash. To freshen up your breath, it is recommended that you rinse your mouth using antiseptic mouthwash. However, do not use fluoride mouthwash when rinsing. Habitual using of fluoride mouthwash may lead to more serious health problems such as osteoporosis, joint problems and discoloration of teeth.
c. See your dentist for a dental cleaning. Scheduling a visit or check up with your dentist will ensure that the prescriptions given are correct. You do not have to worry about side effects or any possible negative effect on your body. Furthermore, your dentist knows what to do about your situation. No action will be taken without further diagnosis from your dentist who makes it easier and safer on your part.
